Puente medieval de Sonella

Onda

This is a 16th-century bridge with two unequal spans and a central pylon as a hexagonal buttress or rain gutter. It has a total length of around 28.50 metres and is 3.40 metres wide.
It is made of ashlar blocks with four flattened parallel arches. The arches are separated from one another and the spaces are not filled in.
This bridge, which crosses the River Sonella, allowed people to travel from the town to the orchards of Sonella and the Franciscan convent of Santa Catalina.
