The only example in the local region of late 19th century modernist engineering work.
An engineering structure built between 1916 and 1919 as part of the Segorbe to Gátova road project, later diverted through Altura. Clearly modernist in the design and elements used, the author was engineer Fernando de León. It’s comprised of a large central arch to overcome the dry riverbed with six equal spans on the sides.
