It’s the third largest bullring of the province, along with that of Castellón and Vinaroz. It has a seating capacity of 4500. Apart from local prominent individuals who are fans of the sport, a notable figure was Silvino Zafón, a renowned bullfighter who, though born in La Estrella, was considered an adopted son of Villafranca. He was known as “El niño de la Estrella”, and his promising career was cut short by the Spanish Civil War.
