A monument declared as a Site of Local Importance.
It forms, along with the adjacent Borrull Mansion, one of the most important examples of civil Valencian Gothic. Spacious masonry façade with four tri-lobed windows divided by mullions that shine wide beams of light on the first floor. An impost line marks the sills and the arched access door is located in the center of the building.
The Town Council has been fulfilling the same function since the start in the 15th Century. The building is also known as the ´Cort Nova´ for being substituted at the time by the Council of the 13th and 14th centuries known as the ´Cort Vella´ that was situated in La Cort street where you can currently visit the medieval dungeons.
