This construction of Renaissance style has been the Chapter House for centuries, the prison being located on the lower floor. Today, the building is home to cultural activities, the School of Music and the Public Library.

It is remarkable due to the ashlar façade, with a taste of a Gothic palace. The entrance arch belongs to this style; the access to the old prison was located to the left of this arch. Inside there are three pointed arches and a sober stone staircase.
