It is also known as ‘La Casa del Temple’, since it used to belong to knights of the Templar order. As its name indicates, it is a fortified house; that is to say, it is a residential building but with defensive aspects that give it a notable military character.

The passing of time has left its mark on the house, to the extent that it is now difficult to discern aspects that display its defensive character, for they have all but disappeared from the fortified building’s original appearance.
