The original structure dates back to the 18th century.
Currently conserved is the underground portion with a large circular well featuring masonry walls and the remains of the foundation on the surface.
The well is circular with a diameter of 5.50 metres and a maximum current depth of 4.50 metres. The theoretical capacity is 150 m3.
The original image showed cross vaulting which would have been configured with two cross arches which began on the four corners.
