Prison Tower

Declared a Site of Cultural Interest - Benassal

It’s evidence of the spectacular 14th century Templar defence, also used as a prison.
As a part of the wall, it’s a crenelated four-storey tower with a quadrangular floor plan. The inside features stone arches forged with wooden beams and a dungeon in the cellar. It’s one of the best defence towers adjacent to the wall.
