San Antonio

This traditional festival was formerly held to ask the saint to protect the town’s animals.

It consists of a procession which distributes a rollo to all travellers who pass through here. A rollo is a ring-shaped wheat cake topped with aromatic seeds.

A bonfire is lit in the centre of the square, made of wood donated by the residents. This not only warms up the cold, harsh January night, but also brings everyone together.
