Ares del Maestrat

The cave paintings in Ares del Maestrat were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with all the other Levantine rock art.

The Cova Remigia cave and other shelter areas on the Gasulla gorge that conserve rock paintings on the walls can be visited with a guide.

The paintings at the Gasulla gorge include hunting scenes representing men with arches, wild boards, Spanish goats, wild bulls, deer, etc.
