Oven-baked lamb shoulder


Ingredientes

  • lamb shoulder blades of 400g
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 spoonfuls of virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 glass of brandy
  • 1/2 glass of water
  • 4 potatoes
  • Preparation


    120 minutes

    Pre-preparation


    Preheat the oven to 180º.
    Put the shoulder blades on a tray with a little oil, water and salt. Place the tray in the oven for approximately 50 minutes. At this point, take the tray out of the oven and turn the shoulders over.

    Oven-baking


    After this space or time, include the tomato, cut in half, as well as the sliced onion, the bay leaves, the garlic cloves, and a glass of good brandy. Again the tray is put back in the oven, maintaining the same temperature (180º), for another 50 minutes to finish cooking the meat along with the other ingredients.

    Serving suggestion


    The ideal garnish to this dish is potatoes. They are served in the same dish as the shoulder blades, preferably in a traditional clay pot, forming a layer along with the vegetables which accompany the meat.
