Store

This water store was built in 1960, and for a number of years afterwards it supplied the village of Zorita with drinking water by means of the various fountains that can be found around the village.

Its cylindrical shape is due to the exigencies of its location which did not permit any other shapes. Its upper section is made of various arches that leave it open, while its lower part is completely sealed and is made from stone, concrete and exposed bricks.

This store is filled with water from the Gallinetes fountain and the well built in 2000. They also supply water to the neighbouring settlements of Palanques, Villores and Ortells, as well as Forcall at present. Its outer surface measures 50 square metres and it has a capacity of 80 cubic metres.
