The agrarian landscape is particularly important in the area. At certain times of year it reveals spectacular contrasts of colour. During the last two weeks of January and first two weeks of February the fields are bedecked in colour with the flowering of the almond trees.

We suggest setting off from Mas d’en Rieres, although because it’s a circular route you can start at any point. It’s a spectacular site when the almond trees are in bloom. Nevertheless, it’s a pleasant route at any time of year. Take a route along the Partida de Dalt in Les Coves, passing a number of refurbished masías. The landscape is predominantly agrarian, with some areas of oak and holm oak.
