El Altomira
The Alto Palancia camping site is found near the 11th-century Moorish tower. It was recently built and has 110 caravan plots. The old “mining road” passes through the high part of the town, from which you can make out the Sierra de Espadán to the North, Calderona to the South and, between them, the Palancia valley. It takes us to “Cantera”, which plays an important role in Navajas’ recent history and was the property of the Altos Hornos de Sagunto, or Sagunto Blast Ovens company.
