The City Museum is located in the Case de Polo, a traditional farmhouse from the 19th century, restored as a museum. Its rooms are dedicated to the more international Vila-Real artists, in particular the composer and guitarist Francisco Tárrega (1852-1909), the writer of immortal works such as Arab Capriccio or Recuerdos de la Alhambra, as well as the sculptor José Ortells (1887-1961) and the painters Gimeno Barón (1912-1978) and José Gumbau (1907-1989). It also has an important temporary showroom.
