This aqueduct channels water to agricultural areas. It is built on top of a rounded stone. It is 4 metres tall, 1.2 metres wide and crosses the Santa Lucia ravine.
It is made of sections known as voussoirs. Due to their shape, the voussoirs are sometimes subject to compressive forces. However, they transmit these horizontal forces on the supports towards the outside. These forces are compensated for by the anchors in the side of the cliffs, which work like buttresses. Its origins are not known, but it is at least 600 years old.
