An eighteenth century temple, the building is complemented by a spireless Baroque style bell tower, in which one section houses the bells. There are two bells; San Pedro Mártir, the older of the two, dates back to 1776, measures 82 centimeters in diameter and weighs 319 kilograms. Meanwhile, Emilia, the younger bell, dates to 1952, is 70 centimeters in diameter and weighs 199 kilograms.
