The fortified church of Ludiente, also known as the Iglesia de la Natividad, is a former religious building that is also an impressive defensive structure.
The church is situated on the top of a hill which is accessed via Calle General Aranda, and is a stone-masonry modern era church that was built sometime between the end of the fifteenth century and the start of the sixteenth century.
It has a rectangular floor plan, is in good condition and stands out for its Gothic ribs within the sacristy vault.
Its former military purpose, especially during the Carlist wars, is evident in the embrasures in the wall of its main nave and in its tower.
It is privately owned and does not hold services, although it is possible to visit if arranged in advance.
