The church was adjacent to Vilanova D’Alcolea until 19 March 1828, when it was turned into a parish church. It’s dedicated to St. Quiteria. The old temple turned out to be small and construction of the new one began in 1865 at the same site.  It’s comprised of a composite order cloister nave with side chapels.
