It’s an example of 16th century Aragonese civil architecture as can be seen in the inscription dated 1564 over the stone-carved coat of arms on the keystone of the semi-circular arch at the entrance to the building. The entire front side is sheltered under a large wood-carved eave. On the ground floor of the same building, there is an old prison, which has a direct entrance from the street with a small voussoir semi-circular arch and a small window as a skylight with bars over it.
