This hermitage with its walled enclosure is the last fortification before reaching the adjacent town. The complex is Moorish in origin, and it was used by Christians for defensive purposes. It is still standing today and the ermita and walled enclosure are in good condition. Les Useres pilgrims stop here on their way to San Juan de Peñagolosa, as it lies directly in their path.
