The coastal area in the south of the province, where important towns as La Vall d'Uixó, Burriana or Vila-real can be found, is one of the most populated and dynamic regions. The Natural Park of the Serra Espadà is partly integrated in this region, as well as the entire southern coast from Almenara to the River Mijares.
