The festivity consists in going (usually by motorised vehicle) to the Chapel, where a mass is given and then the roll purchased by the manager of each year is blessed and given out. The people of Vilafranca profess great devotion to this chapel and there is an extensive list of managers who wish to offer the traditional roll.
