Olmo of Castellnovo
The Olmo of Castellnovo dates from 1812 and it was planted in the centre of the square which currently wears its name as a commemoration to the Constitution of Cádiz. Towards the middle of the 20th century, the elm suffered the loss of wood from the trunk due to a fire the that the neighbours managed to contain and save the tree.
The tree has a height of 12.200 metres, with a circumference of 5.75 metres, the radius of its crown being more than 9 metres and occupying and area of more than 240 square metres.
