La Font d’En Serra responds to the traditional model of a large fountain with laundry facilities and trough.  This fountain is supplied by a large aquifer from the nearby Sierra Simona, which allows this fountain to flow at all times. The water flows through a crack in the wall and is poured into a small stone bowl which supplies a trough for horses. Then the water heads towards a laundry that has two traditional tanks: one to clean the other to rinse.
