El Clot

It is a cave, or karst formation, in the cylindrical terrain located on the slope of a mountain. It is about 3-4kms away from Vilafamés.

This cave has a circular floor and a flat back and occupies an area of 1300 m2, with a depth between 8 and 16 metres. 

The vegetation that is found in the area is made up of Holm oaks, olives and a large quantity of shrubs and hackberries, as well as climbing plants that have become a localised, jungle-like ecosystem.
