Cuevas del Sargal
This magnificent spot can be found on the left bank of the River Palancia, and is nestled in the valley, surrounded by mountains. A particular highlight is the Cuevas del Sargal, which are caves that form a beautiful and inviting wide front.
It was used as a shelter by the first inhabitants of the region, from the Upper Paleolithic until the Neolithic. They were geologically formed by the movement of water from the Fuente del Pontón, and feature some interesting rock formations.
