In 1917, an important set of cave paintings in the so-called Galería Alta de la Masía, Galería del Roure (that can currently be visited) as well as in the Covacha del Barranquet and La Viña were discovered. In the 1980s, a new set of paintings in the Coveta de la Cornisa and the Galería de la Partició were also discovered.
These are paintings of a realistic nature, although they are smaller than those that can be found in the Barranc de la Valltorta gorge. Hunting and warlike activity scenes between different tribes are represented there, with weapons such as bow and arrows. Footprints that suggest a chase or the effort made by the archer to tighten the bow make the realism of these paintings evident.
The most represented animal is the goat and, to a lesser extent, the deer. In the Galeria del Roure, a struggle stands out, where the arrows stuck in the warriors; the movement and the composition make it a great example of cave paintings of the Levantine Rock Art. The almost exclusive colour is red, which results from the mixture of the red blood cell powder with animal fat. Other representations, more schematic ones, imply a later date.
Galería Alta: 20 m length x 2 height x 3 width.
