The church of the Assumption of Boixar is situated in the town centre.  It’s the most important monument in the town and was built in the 13th century in line with the construction method for Reconquista churches.

Throughout its history it has undergone several renovations, the most recent of which was carried out in the 18th century.  That work left the temple as it is seen today. It’s dedicated to St. Barnabas. You can get there on road CV 105 and then towards CV 109.
