These arches are an attractive and important element of the old village centre. Both are located at the top of a street and connect various homes together or form part of a house. The San Antonio arch supports the chapel that houses the image of the saint.
On the outskirts of the village is the area known as La Almeda, which holds the ruins of the Ermita de San Juan, also known as the Ermita de Santa Bárbara since it was devoted to her at other moments in time. This ruined temple was built in the 17th century. It is located in a small clearing next to the road. It is completely abandoned and has lost part of its walls and roof. In previous times, pilgrimages up to this ermita were made, motivated by the belief that the waters of the nearby riverbank had curative properties.
