The order of the Capuchin Poor Clares arrived in Castellón de la Plana more than 300 years ago, a monastery was founded in the city, known as the Royal Convent of the Capuchin Nuns of Castellón; which consisted of several buildings, the one destined to the monastic life of the nuns, the Church and the garden. The building began in the seventeenth century, making reforms and extensions until the eighteenth century.
