That is the place where were the population growth in Almassora stands out outside of the walled enclosure of the historic centre at the end of the 18th and 19th centuries. Some modernist buildings from the early  20th century can be also seen, highlighting the magnificent house that belonged to Dr Castell, which is decorated with ceramic items with reliefs, formidable irons and wood carvings with mural paintings by Vicente Castell in the interior.
