La Torre d'En Besora, formerly called Torre de Vinrabi, belonged to the Castle of Culla (Castillo de Culla) when this area was conquered by King James I. It later belonged to Guillem de Anglesola, who gave it to Guillem de Besora in 1269, who settled it in 1274.
