Сират

Cirat was a Muslim town, although its origin traces back to an ancient Roman town which was located on the same site. After the Reconquista, it became part of the lordship of Ximén de Arenós; after the Moors were expelled in 1609, it suffered severe depopulation.

Economy

Cirat’s economy is rooted in agriculture.
