These celebrations take place on the nearest Sunday to the 22nd of May. On the day of the festival, people walk up to the ermita and celebrate mass. Wine and food is blessed and then shared out between those present. It should be pointed out that the festival is very family-centred, since people sit with their relatives and everyone eats together, in fraternal harmony. There is a great feel to the festival. Jotas (a type of Spanish song with dancing) are sung, people play card games and children ring small bells.
