Peñas de l'Alt

It is a group of steep rocks and hills located on the edge of the Alcudia de Veo municipality. Almost all of them exceed 600m of height, amongst them, the tallest is the Coll d'Espí (672m). From the geological point of view, these rocks form part of a group of limestones forming a karst landscape, a fact that justifies the presence of numerous caves and chasms, some of which have great importance such as La Gronsa or l'Eulogio chasm and l'Alt cave. You can access the rocks and caves through different paths that start from forest tracks close to the urban centre.
