Located in the central square of the Mesón, the Gypsum Museum, offers the visitor information about this mineral, from its geological formation process to the different sectors in which it has use, without forgetting the process of industrial transformation.
In the Geology Lounge, reference to the geological formation process of this mineral is made and the reason for why there is gypsum in the walls of our town. Likewise, it offers a varied display of rocks and minerals, temporarily loaned by the Valencian Society of Mineralogy.
The Transformation Lounge, central and widest, with vaulted rooves and interesting acoustics, it offers us an overview of the process that the mineral undergoes from its extraction from the quarry until it is prepared for its distribution.
The Uses Lounge, shows the variety of uses that gypsum has and its presence in various economic sectors, from the construction sector to the food industry.
