This small sea museum is based on the Baluarte del Príncipe, which is the most eastern wall of the promontory, it was set up in the 18th century as artillery barracks.
Here we can find out about the maritime elements of Peñíscola, from its first inhabitants up to the present day, in terms of its cultural, natural, historical and archaeological nature.
In the museum there is information about the different types of fishing that exist as well as a small aquarims where the different species that inhabit the area of Peñíscola can be seen, as well as a wide variety of amphoras which have been rescued from the sea.
