The parish church of Geldo, dedicated to the Virgin of Mercy, is a 17th century Baroque temple. It’s comprised of a small Corinthian nave with side chapels. On the inside, there’s a precious sgraffito occupying the entire dome over the high altar.
The rest of the nave ceiling features five central fleurons and decoration in line with the rest of the building.
Another pieces of quality work inside the building is the large-sized wood carving of Christ the Light, an image that’s highly revered by the locals.
