Nowadays, the tower is located within the town; however, the place where it stands was used as a means of defence over the passing Toga Strait, upstream from it and on the right bank of the River Mijares.
The tower has a circular layout. Reflecting rather impeccable workmanship, it’s made with river stones of different sizes, joined with mortar. It’s half-embedded into the facade of a house.
Apparently, it’s in an acceptable state of conservation as it is used as a home.
