The church dates back to the 16th and 18th centuries. It’s a building with a basilica floor plan and four corridors, side chapels (between buttresses), a polygonal high altar, an impressive groin vault and interesting decorative frescoes with allegorical scenes devoted to the patron saint, St. Bartholomew.
