It was built a relatively short time ago - 10 years back - in honour of St. Christopher. The work began in 1995 in an area of immense natural beauty and views of the entire municipal area.
The town council began promoting a May romeria, which has already been done for 9 years.
There’s also an child play area, an area for making paella, a swimming pool as well as a hotel and restaurant known as L’Ermita.
