The long distance between the town and the farthest parts of the municipal territory made some type of structure necessary to shelter farmers and their animals. This type of structure is of Neolithic origin and the best examples can be found along the western Mediterranean. There are different types of measurements and architectural shapes: some with upturn, others with a flat roof, with a cistern, with feeders... what they all share in common is the dry-stone used to build them.
