The humble ermita, or small church, is a rustic building that measures 8 m in length and 3 m in width. Its origins seem to date back to the 13th century or the beginnings of the 14th century. Its stone walls hold a porch that was initially supported by a pillar. The porch is open to the front and to the right hand side. It has a double-sloped roof, and there used to be a bell gable in its side wall. Now, it is partially in ruins and has no bell.
The statue of the Virgen de la Naranja is a valuable Roman polychromed wood carving that stands 85 cm tall and is made out of Spanish juniper wood.
