This magnificent specimen is found in the Plaza del Olmo. It characterises the village and greatly improves the square’s appearance. This symbol is emblematic of the village and testament to the story of the population. As such, it appears in the village’s coat of arms and is referenced in its anthem. It is located on a circular platform raised above street level that measures around 7 m in diameter and has an average height of 1.40 m. This platform was enlarged in 1938. There is a fountain on one of its sides. The tree is catalogued as a Monumental Tree of the Valencian Community by the Consellería de Medio Ambiente, or Regional Ministry for the Environment. It was planted in 1636, measures 13.87 m in height and has a trunk diameter of 6.30 m. It covers an area of some 227 square metres.
