El Campament

This is the name given to the park located in the last stretch of the Veo river before joining the Castro ravine to give rise to the Seco river. The enclave, located in the valley between the “Clot” and “Entre-rius” areas forms a landscape of limestone rock excavated by water giving rise to meanders and small waterfalls. The most famous of all is “l'Engolidor” of approximately 2 metres high. Currently, ornamental vegetation has been introduced so that you can often enjoy beautiful flowers and aromatic plants. The river runs normally through the park from a small weir below which the water rests in a natural pond where in summer bathers come to cool off, downstream the always crystalline water is lost between the jumps and cracks of the rocks. In the vicinities of the place also exists a very large and shallow cave where climbing is practised called the Campament cave.
