Since the thirteenth century, the crypt of the Cathedral of Segorbe has been the seat of the most distinguished members of the Segorbine diocese: Deanes, Canons, Benefactors or members of the famous Valero family rested in these rooms with eternal walls.
The visit to the Crypts of the Cathedral, located under the chapels of the cloister, allows us a tour through the Diocese of Segorbe, its history and its spaces, to penetrate the idealized reconstruction of an original crypt with its funeral chapel, perception of death in the people of the medieval world or attend the reflection of an old monk on this last great journey.
