This public laundry area is located in the south section of the village centre, adjacent to the road which runs through the Viñero neighbourhood on the way from Olocau del Rey to La Mata.

It is a rectangular space and part of it is covered. It is one-storey tall, and has two pools built from ashlars on the inside. These originally functioned as sinks for washing items. On the outside, water flows from a fountain affixed to the rough stone wall. The tube that feeds the fountain is around 131 metres long.
