Dedicated to the transfiguration of the Lord, it pertains to the Composite order.  With Churrigueresque carving, it’s comprised of a central nave, upper choir and poor altars.

Construction began in the 17th century under the direction of master architect José García.

Of the precious metal pieces conserved, there’s a 1652 silver-gilt chalice and another from the late 18th century.
