You can find these communal threshing grounds and corresponding straw lofts in the upper part of the village. They are a unique legacy of the rural heritage of Els Ports. Farmers would take their harvested grains to these grounds for threshing. Once the grain had been separated from the stalks, the crop was then kept in the straw lofts. They are currently in good condition.
